Apple has introduced a new Mac mini powered by M6 and M5 Pro. The compact desktop is designed for everyday computing, creative work and always-on agentic AI workflows without the footprint of a traditional tower.
Mac mini with M6
The M6 configuration features a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU with Neural Accelerators in every GPU core, a first for Mac mini. Apple says it delivers up to four times faster AI performance and up to twice the graphics performance compared with the M4 Mac mini.
- 16GB of unified memory as standard, configurable to 32GB
- Up to 170GB/s of memory bandwidth
- Up to 40 percent faster CPU performance
- Designed for everyday work, creative apps and local AI
Mac mini with M5 Pro
The M5 Pro model scales to an 18-core CPU, 20-core GPU and 64GB of unified memory. It targets app development, video production, 3D rendering, game development, scientific simulation and larger local AI models.
With 307GB/s of memory bandwidth, Neural Accelerators across the GPU and Thunderbolt 5, M5 Pro is aimed at demanding professional workflows that move large files or render complex scenes.
Connectivity for compact agentic systems
Both configurations support Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and upgraded 2.5Gb Ethernet, with an option for 10Gb Ethernet. That makes Mac mini suitable as a main desktop, a home-device management computer or an always-on AI system on a professional network.
Pricing and availability
- Mac mini with M6 starts at THB 32,900 in Thailand
- Mac mini with M5 Pro starts at THB 61,900
- Apple says the new models will be available in Thailand soon
Most everyday users should choose around memory and storage needs, while professional buyers should consider M5 Pro for sustained video, 3D, game, data and local AI workloads.
