Apple’s macOS 27 Golden Gate focuses on Siri AI, Apple Intelligence, the Liquid Glass design and everyday performance improvements. It is a free software update for compatible Macs.

Is the update available today?

Apple’s global macOS page lists September 14, 2026 as the start date, while Apple’s Thai page says macOS 27 Golden Gate will be available later this year. Availability can therefore vary by region. Check Apple menu > System Settings > General > Software Update, back up your Mac and connect it to power before installing.

What can Siri AI do on Mac?

Siri AI can search personal context across photos, email and notes, work across apps, answer questions about what is on screen and keep conversations in a dedicated Siri app so they can continue on another Apple device. Siri AI is rolling out in English, with language and regional limits.
