Apple has introduced Apple Watch Ultra 4, its rugged sports and adventure watch with a new health-sensing platform, Readiness insights and longer battery life.
Readiness turns health data into a daily guide
Readiness analyzes recent activity, training load, vitals and sleep score, then produces a 0–10 score with an actionable recommendation: Recover, Pace Yourself, Ready or Go For It. The score can change during the day as new data arrives.
Key specifications
- S11 chip and Health Sensing System
- Optical and electrical heart sensors, measuring heart rate every five seconds throughout the day
- HRV measurements up to 24 times more frequently
- 49mm titanium case in natural or black titanium
- Dual-frequency GPS and improved sports tracking
- Water resistance to 100 meters, IP6X dust resistance and a 40-meter depth gauge
- ECG, sleep tracking, health notifications and satellite emergency features where supported

Battery and charging
Battery life reaches up to 50 hours in normal use and up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode. Outdoor workout tracking runs for up to 25 hours in Extended Workout mode or up to 45 hours in Max Extended Workout mode. Apple says 15 minutes of charging can add up to 18 hours of battery life under its test conditions.
Price and availability
US pricing starts at $799. A Thailand price was not listed on Apple’s Thailand online store at the time of publication, so local buyers should wait for official Thai pricing and Cellular availability.
Pre-orders are open in selected markets, with store availability beginning September 18, 2026. Thailand timing may vary by region.
Bottom line
Apple Watch Ultra 4 focuses on more frequent health measurements, daily readiness guidance, stronger endurance and accurate GPS. It is aimed at serious athletes and outdoor users who can benefit from deeper training and recovery feedback.
