iPhone Duo is now the leading rumored name for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, replacing earlier speculation around “iPhone Ultra” or “iPhone Fold.” The latest reports arrive just before Apple’s “Surprise and Shine” keynote.

The event begins September 9 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, or midnight on September 10, 2026 in Thailand. Apple has not confirmed the product name or specifications, so this is a pre-event rumor roundup.

What could iPhone Duo be?

Macworld and 9to5Mac report that iPhone Duo may be a book-style foldable phone. Its outer display would handle everyday use while folded, with a larger internal display available when opened. The “Duo” name would highlight the two-screen experience, if Apple uses it.

Rumored specs, price and release timing

  • A20 Pro and hardware optimized for a thin, foldable design are possible
  • An outer screen plus a larger inner screen when unfolded
  • Some reports estimate a starting price near $2,000, which could translate to roughly THB 80,000 or more in Thailand
  • Sales could begin in October, with regional availability potentially staggered

Other products expected at the event

The strongest expectations remain iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, followed by Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. AirPods 5, a refreshed HomePod mini, Apple TV and smart-home hardware are possible extras, but less certain.

What buyers in Thailand should watch

  • The official name and Thai pricing
  • Pre-order and retail dates, which may differ from iPhone 18 Pro
  • Warranty, parts and repair terms for the hinge and foldable display
  • The final lineup Apple actually announces

Bottom line

iPhone Duo could be the new name for Apple’s foldable iPhone, but the name remains unconfirmed until the keynote. For Thailand, the event starts at midnight on September 10, and it may become Apple’s most important iPhone launch in years.
