Apple has officially introduced iPhone Duo, its first foldable iPhone. The book-style design works as a pocketable phone when closed and opens into a larger canvas for content, gaming and multitasking.
Two displays, one design
The inner Super Retina XDR foldable display measures 7.6 inches, the largest iPhone display and 50% larger than iPhone 18 Pro Max. The outer display measures 5.4 inches, providing 90% of the iPhone 18 Pro screen area. Both displays support ProMotion, Always On and up to 3,000 nits of outdoor brightness. A nano-texture finish reduces glare and makes the crease less noticeable.
Durability and authentication
iPhone Duo uses grade 5 titanium, Ceramic Shield on the back and Ceramic Shield 2 on the outer display, which Apple says offers three times better scratch resistance than the previous generation. Its precision hinge uses more than 100 components, while the phone carries an IP68 rating. Touch ID is built into the side button, and USB-C Apple Pencil support is planned for later this year.

Price and release date
iPhone Duo comes in Star White and Night Sky with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage. US pricing starts at $1,999, or $83.29 per month for 24 months. The iPhone Duo Case costs $79 and the Folio with Kickstand costs $129 in the US.
Pre-orders begin October 16, 2026, with availability from October 23, 2026. Thai pricing and local availability should be confirmed through Apple Thailand.
